Five cells. Your shape. Your numbers.
New Original Million territory is bought in connected groups of five. You decide the shape and position. The hidden numbers are revealed only after you confirm.
1. Buy in blocks of five
£5 buys five credits and those five credits are used together to acquire five new cells. New unowned territory cannot be bought as isolated single cells.
2. Design the shape yourself
Your five selected cells can form any shape you like as long as all five remain connected by shared edges. Corner-only contact does not count.
3. The numbers are already there
Every coordinate in the Original Million has one unique predetermined number from 1 to 1,000,000. That map is fixed before launch. You cannot see a number while choosing a cell.
4. Confirm, then reveal
Once you confirm your five-cell placement, the placement becomes permanent and the five hidden numbers underneath are revealed. Those number records are then associated with your account and ownership history.
5. Build a permanent presence
Your profile can represent a business, website, artist, band, song, creator, charity, portfolio, project, memorial, message or simply your participation in the Grid. The internal Grid profile remains the permanent part. External destinations can change safely over time.
6. Future trading stays separate from buying
New territory is always bought in blocks of five. Later, individual owned cells, numbers and positions can support voluntary swaps or transfers without changing the primary purchase rule.
400 sections make winning achievable.
The 1,000 × 1,000 Grid is divided into 400 separate 50 × 50 sections. Complete all purchasable positions across a row or column inside one section and the remaining unclaimed House cells on that line are awarded to you. House cells are never required to complete the line because they cannot be bought normally.
