Frequently Asked Questions
The essentials about buying, placing and owning territory in The Original Million.
How much does it cost?
The normal price is £5 for five credits, which acquire one self-designed connected five-cell placement. During the launch test, FIRST5 makes the first five cells free for one account.
Can I buy one cell?
No. New territory is always acquired in connected groups of five.
Can I choose my hidden numbers?
No. The full number map is predetermined before launch and hidden. You choose positions and discover the numbers only after confirming placement.
Do my cells expire?
No annual renewal is currently planned. Ownership remains associated with the Grid account unless it is later voluntarily transferred, sold, released or affected by a clearly defined legal mechanism.
Can I advertise anything?
No. Illegal, harmful, deceptive, unsafe and otherwise prohibited content is not allowed. External destinations can be disabled without erasing the historical Grid ownership record.
Is this gambling?
The product is permanent digital advertising/profile territory and the hidden-number mechanic is not presented as a cash prize. The final commercial mechanics, particularly any future cash trading, still require appropriate legal review.
How do winning lines work?
The Grid is divided into 400 sections of 50 × 50 cells. If one owner controls every normally purchasable cell across a complete row or column within a section, that line is completed. The remaining unclaimed House cells on that line are awarded to that owner. A line can only be won once.
